Shenshi Delivers First Domestic Large-Scale PCHE

Pioneering Offshore Natural Gas Cooling Technology for CNOOC

In a landmark collaboration, Hangzhou Shenshi Energy Conservation Technology Co., Ltd. (Shenshi) and CNOOC Gas & Power Group have successfully developed and delivered the first domestically produced large-scale, high-efficiency compact wet natural gas cooler (PCHE). The unit was officially delivered after passing rigorous inspection and certification by the China Classification Society (CCS), a critical milestone for China's domestic energy equipment manufacturing.

Deployment on CEPA Platform in East China Sea

At the end of 2021, this advanced PCHE was installed on the CEPA (Central Processing) platform in a gas field operated by CNOOC (China) Donghai Xihu Oil and Gas Operating Company. This deployment in a demanding offshore environment demonstrates the robustness and reliability of Shenshi's PCHE technology, which is specifically designed to handle the high-pressure and corrosive conditions typical of wet natural gas processing.

Achieving Mass Production for Offshore Engineering

The successful certification and delivery of this PCHE unit signify a major achievement for Shenshi, marking the company's capability for mass production of large-scale Printed Circuit Heat Exchangers for the offshore engineering sector. This breakthrough strengthens the domestic supply chain for critical energy infrastructure and positions Shenshi as a key player in high-performance thermal management solutions for the global energy industry.
